On Monday June 13th, 2022 Adam and Sherry were up at 2:30am for the start of their big adventure! After nearly 11 months of waiting it was finally time to go and pick up Farley, the new Winnebago Revel. They placed their order with the dealer in Iowa back in July 2021 and it was delivered in mid-May 2022.
After being dropped off at the Redmond OR airport by daughter Jocelyn, they traveled to Minneapolis with a connection in Denver. The flights all went smooth and they arrived safely slightly ahead of schedule.
Due to an unexpected issue with the scheduled pickup from the airport they had to find an Uber to take them the 2 hours from Minneapolis to the dealer in northern Iowa. This was not an easy feat as most airport Uber drivers only want to do short local rides. It took 4 attempts, and close to an hour, to secure a driver for the ride to Forest City Iowa.
Upon arrival at the dealer, things went very smooth. Our sales reps greeted us by name and quickly took care of the paperwork to secure the loaner car provided by the dealer. They then made their way a short distance to the hotel they booked for 2 nights to rest.
The next morning was the big day. They arrived at the dealer a little before 8am and after a brief wait, they were taking to Farley by the person at the dealer who was to perform the orientation.
